In the late 80’s I purchased a used 78-1/2 Camper Special. Square headlights. Drove it for many years. When I had to move due to my job I left the truck with my brother. For years I always said if ever come across another one in good condition, I would buy it. In 2017, I was surfing classifieds when I stumbled across a 79 Model. It looked pretty decent. After numerous questions I agreed to purchase this truck and have it shipped to me.

The truck was far from perfect but overall it was fairly original. No body damage but some metal repair needed to be performed. The 460 hp was in rough shape. Lots of leaks. Fuel tanks leaked at inlets. No heat or A/C. Wiring needed to be traced and sorted out. Tons of work but I am proud to say my Ol Browny runs great now. Complete new A/C, interior, herculiner, etc. I drive her daily. Pull my work trailer all over the county. Love it. Thanks LMC for technical advice and the parts I needed to get her back in shape.[lmc_story_gallery]
