1953 Ford F250 – James D.
New Life For A Railroad Truck
This Southern Pacific Railroad 1953 F250 was a workhouse for the railroad, probably a supervisors truck. The wood bed didn’t last long within its workload. They built a 3/8 inch steel plate and that lasted now almost 70 years. Mostly original, the Flathead1953 Ford v8 with Navarro head, an isky 3/4 cam, ups the horse power to support all that steel.when it crosses railroad tracks it alway pulls to the north.[lmc_story_gallery]
