1999 Ford F250 – David H.

In 2008 my 01 F350 was in a garage fire. It had a 7.3 diesel with less than 30,000 miles on it and was a 4×4 f 350 dually. To replace that truck in 08 all trucks had more then 175,000 miles on them and were well used. I did find a 1999 with less then 75,000 mile on. But it was a rear wheel drive and a gas motor. This became my canvas to start. I still had the 01 from the fire. So the transformation started. The gas motor and trans was pulled out. The 01 7.3 diesel and trans and transfer case were replace on the 99 frame. Then the front rear and rear rear moved to the 99 frame along with the fuel tank from the diesel too. Ford made this the easiest chance ever. Brakes, hose’s, lights an elec and all parts needed, including dually fenders from LMC come in with, and as a big help. I now have a full running f 350 dually 4×4 from a 01 under a 99 body. As I am remaking a bigger exhaust, cold air intake, and upgraded turbo and computer.[lmc_story_gallery]
