1961 Chevy C10 – Ted & Karen S.

My son bought this truck in 1999, It had a six cylinder and three speed trans, with a 16 inch eight ply tires. It was painted green with spray cans. In 2001 we lowered the truck and changed the wheels and tires. The six cylinder was removed, and a V-8 with a four-speed was installed. It became his daily driver.

In 2007 I Purchased the truck from my son after he bought a 1957 Chevy pick up. It was my daily driver now. I sanded the truck to painted flat black and that’s when I found the emblems on the doors. It was a circle with a bell in the middle, that told me it started out as a bell telephone truck when it was new.

I am now retired but still use the truck to haul lumber gravel scrap metal and whatever I need.[lmc_story_gallery]
