1985 Ford Ranger – Brian W.

My first truck was a 1989 Ranger and I had always wanted to do a V8 swap, but was unable to at the time. Fast forward to 2010 and I found this 1985 Ranger where a V8 swap had been started, but the truck itself was in very rough shape. Over the next 9 years I did a complete frame off restoration of the truck, replacing nearly every component. All that is left untouched from the original is the roof, windshield, and bed floor. The truck is powered by a 5.0L from 1995 Mustang GT with a few bolt on upgrades. The truck was completed in September 2019 and I finally have my dream truck that I hope to enjoy for many years.
