1979 Silverado

I bought the truck in 1979 when I was twenty three years old. I used the truck for family camping trips and pulling the boat. Never drove it to work and was always stored in the garage. The truck was so reliable we used it for that for twenty five years. Then it came time I wanted to buy a new one. So in 2006 bought a new diesel Sierra. My wife says you must keep the old truck, we had so many memories with it. So the new truck is out in the rain and the 79 is in the heated garage. Now I’m 66 and retired, nothing to do with COVID around so doing some upgrades to the truck. Bought some interior parts for the truck, the interior looks like new again. The truck still runs and drives like new. The reproduction parts fit real good and look exactly like factory. Thanks, Gary[lmc_story_gallery]
