Resurrecting an old dream.

I suppose my story began in 1971. I was 12 years old at the time. During that summer, I worked with my Dad, uncle, and grandfather catching clams. My Uncle Carey owned a 1964 Ford F100, which we used daily in our quest for seafood. I always liked the style of cab and the 3 speed shifter on the column.

Some dreams take longer than others to realize. Fast forward to 2017 and a phone call from my son-in-law, Jason, who knew of my love of those old F100’s,
Initially, I was going to repair the floor pans, cab mounts, and get an economy paint job, Then, I pondered just how few of these trucks that still exist. It was at this point, I decided to do a frame off restoration.

The old gal has been restored to her original glory. With the help and encouragement from friends and support from LMC, my dream of 48 years has come to fruition. As a footnote, my 13 year old grandson Macauley has reserved Pop’s F100 for his future prom. My old dream has, in turn, become my grandson’s dream. The dream has come full circle.
