Gramps 1950

I lived next to my grandparents growing up and grandpa would use this truck to haul wood to the wood burning stove.  After grandma passed away, grandpa sold the house and land to downsize.  Before the auction, I asked him if I could buy the pickup to keep it in the family.  After a 2 year botched restoration in Canada, I was left with a cab, doors, and grill with a blank canvas.  I brought the truck to Patience Metal Fab in Minnesota and wanted to build something that goes smooth into the corners. The truck has a 5.0 Coyote, 4R70 paddle shifted trans, 8.8 cortex rear end with watts link and 4 link. Heated and cooled Corbeaus, but still left the window cranks 🙂  The truck made its debut break in driving from Minnesota to North Carolina and back with 0 major issues.  The truck will be driven to and from the track as well as over events.
