1974 Ford F100 – Jeff G.

This truck has been in our family for nearly 50 years.  Some of my earliest memories as a child include camping, fishing or similar outdoor adventure in our family truck.  My mother actually drove herself to the hospital in this truck while in labor to give birth to me in 1980.  I remember her telling me that she carefully selected a parking spot as to not get a “door ding” during our stay at the hospital.

My father took meticulous care of our truck and I remember changing oil, replacing shocks, washing, waxing, and performing other maintenance items all throughout my childhood years.  I’m sure that is where I gained the knowledge and became an automotive enthusiast that extends to this day.

Our F-100 wears factory original green paint and motors around with its untouched 360 C.I.D. V8 engine, still running strong after nearly 50 years from when it rolled from the factory assembly line.  Likely something to do with my father’s knowledge and care over the years, as well as a sturdy platform in a 1970’s era Ford Truck.

We’ve replaced a few worn items over the years and the products that LMC Truck provides are second to none.  Excellent replacement items for factory parts that just won’t last 50 years.

The truck remains a strong hauler will continue to serve our family for generations to come.  I plan to make memories with my three daughters as they grow up and get to experience the joy of outdoor adventures in this piece of family history.
