My family and I have always had a thing for classic vehicles, unfortunately there’s many factors as to why my family never messed with the hobby.  I was gifted this truck on my 16th birthday (2016).  Knowing my love for classic vehicles and resto’s my parents told me they’d help me out on gas/insurance so long as I show dedication and commitment in keeping it running.  They said anything else I wanted to do was coming out of my pocket.  Before I knew it, I had my first real job.  Now everyone who has a true love for restoring vehicles we all know you form a bond with it, it holds a lot of sentimental value.  This truck in particular means the world to me.  I cannot begin to explain all the memories imbedded.  Everything from my childhood dog to my family rebuilding the engine while I was at basic training to say, “I’m proud of you”.  Fast forward 6, almost 7, years and 2 years I’ve spent overseas, she’s better than ever and looking clean.  Thank you for reading the story of Ole’ Redd!
