1996 Chevrolet 1500 – Anthony H.

When I turned 16 over 2 years ago, I had a dream of owning a ’88-98 Chevrolet 1500.  I had wanted one ever since my dad had his ‘95 Chevy 1500 for over 20 years.  I worked all spring, summer, and fall doing any kind of odd job you could think of and once I had saved up enough money, I finally had found it.  It was a 1996 Chevy 1500 4×4 with a 5.7 Vortec engine.  It was a shiny red.  The only problem is the guy I bought it from had lied about everything.  It had a junkyard motor and trans.  I completey rebuilt this truck by myself, everything under the hood.  Finally, after I had straightened it completely, I had built the best truck a man could ever own.  I have raced this truck ,worked it, took it places where nobody else could go, and I even pulled a 7,000lb tractor up a almost straight up and down steep hill.  This truck is the best looking, hardest working, most powerful, fastest truck I have, or will ever own.  This will be the best and only truck I will ever own.  I will have it til the day I die.
