Pops Olé Blue

This truck was my pops truck when he was a kid.  It’s been in the family for years.  He was a mechanic and got injured on the job back in the  early 90’s and had to make a tough decision to make ends meet.  He chose to sell his 1968 Chevelle SS and keep Olé Blue.  We got it back up and running and starting the restoration process on it so he can enjoy it while he is still around.  Because the truck is lifted, I have to pick him up and sit him behind the wheel and he can still drive it around.  Hopefully we get the suspension and steering done up soon so he can drive it around and enjoy it with the grand kids while he can.  It’s nothing fancy but it’s our own and our own family vehicle that will stay in the family for as long as we’re around.
