My uncle finished building this truck in 1997 and drove it until he was in a bad vehicle on the way home from work one morning.  The truck sat for a long time, and then he gave it to me when I graduated high school.  When he handed me the keys to it, he said “I don’t care what happens to it, but it got to stay in the family”.

Fast forward to 2015.  I told my girlfriend at the time, who is now my wife, that I’d like to build a squarebody Chevy.  She said, “Why don’t you just get your old Ford running up at the farm?”.  Long story short, I told her I’d have it on the road with about $4,500 and we’d have some fun it.  That budget didn’t last very long, but hopefully my daughter will be able to enjoy just as much as I have.
