Dad’s Old ’49

My dad bought this truck from the original owner in the 80’s with the idea of making a hot rod truck someday. Work and life got in the way and it sat out in the wood behind the house until 2016, when I was able to get it from him. I bought a half ton chassis and started on this 6-year journey. Finished Memorial Day weekend of 2023, it has been in 7 car shows and have won 6 trophies. I’m so proud to own this truck, dad and I put the first 20 miles on it. The smile he had on his face makes the money and time worth it.
