1995 Ford F250 – Buck W.

I am the second and last owner of this beautiful 1995 F250 XLT with 81K miles. It was bought by the original owner from a Ford dealership in Shelbyville Indiana and driven until I bought it in late 2020. My son found this on Facebook Marketplace just south of where we live and called the owners daughter that day. I explained I was on duty at my job as a firefighter for the next two days but wanted to buy the truck and my wife and son would be down the next morning to get it. She told me that I was the first person to call and as far as she was concerned, it was mine. The next day, my wife and son went down to look at it and in the middle of a meeting I got a call from my son that said three words, “Just say yes”. They brought it home that day and I was like a kid at Christmas as I had to finish my shift and then drive home 40 miles the next morning at 7 am. When I got home the next morning I found a dusty, dirty truck but otherwise a rust free original F250. My retirement truck!

After a good bath, detail and obtaining a Marti report I found that my truck was one of only 72 built in my color and trim package. Since I have owned “Midnight”, I have only removed the camper shell, and just kept her clean, only driving her in good weather. I have had to replace the original radiator, plugs, fuel filter and belt as they were all original and either dry rotting or beyond maintenance limits, but she runs like a top!!

Two days after I bought the truck, the owners son dropped off a second set of keys too, and remarked that he wishes he hadn’t sold his dads truck in the end. I promised him it will be well taken care of and loved like his dad did from the day he purchased it.
