1951 Chevy 3100 – Jerry R.

My wife’s Dad bought the truck new in 1951 and when he passed on, my Mother in-law gave the truck to me, so it has been in the family for 72 years and I drove it around for a while and put it under the barn for several years. Then, I decided to restore it so I bought a 1988 S-10 long wheel base frame and bought the conversion kit from code-504 and started to work. I bought a lot of parts from LMC and all of them worked out great, it has a Chevy 305 with a 700R4 transmission and I can hardly believe how good it runs and drives.
