This 1978 power wagon was bought by my grandpa in the early 80’s off his ex brother in law, who wanted to get a bigger truck. The truck served as a work truck for years until early 2000’s. Mid 80’s, it got into a wreck where the drivers fender, radiator support, hood, bumper, and grill got smashed in and needed to all be replaced. The truck was repainted with a darker blue and would be all fixed up again with some extras. The ’79 and ’80 fender emblems would be put on. Later, the bumper would be messed up again so it was replaced by an air tank. In 2014 or 2015, my uncle would become the owner of the truck until 2021 or 2022, where he would give it back to my grandpa for a 2nd-Gen Dodge. The ’78 would be gifted to me as a project. It needed a lot of work, but it’s nearly done, just some rust patches need to be repaired. This is my first car and I love it so much and it’s been in the family for years. It only has 91 and a half thousand miles on the clock and it’ll be around for many years to come!
