When the truck was new in 1955, my sister had a boyfriend who had one and I took it for a joyride at the ripe old age of 15. After that, I always wanted one but never had a chance to get one. Her boyfriend was not real happy. Now 65 years later, I found a project truck and with help from my son Josh, we put it all together over a two-year period, rebuilt 283 engine from S&j in Spokane, Washington, new turbo 350 transmission, 1969 nova rear end and with a lot of help from you guys at LMC truck. So, now at 83, I can take it for coffee or lunch and watch all the people stare at it and say how nice it is.
