1959 Chevy 3100 – James S.
I watched this truck sit for about 4 years before I bought it.
It was still all original with the exception of the flat deck, but still had the farm standard 3-speed and rear end. It didn’t go anywhere fast… haha.
I knew that I wanted to get it back to the original look with a little SAS to it.
We did a frame-off restoration, boxed in the frame and then put in our order(s) to LMC. 😊
After 3 long years, she was back on the road and looking sharp!
A totally rebuild 327 with a little bit of a lumpy cam, turbo auto 350 trans, and an 8.8 Ford rear-end. 😃
Updated gauges, steering, exhaust, tires, and wheels, etc.
But most importantly, the beautiful Chevy fleetside look was back.
Thank you to the great LMC team and their great line of product.
Happy Birthday to me, I was born in ’59 and this truck will be my grandson’s legacy.
