My granddaddy’s truck he bought used in 1971 for $350. He used it daily on the family property in southern New Jersey for years, before parking it in the barn, covered, and forgotten.
In 2017, my cousin and I decided to do a full restoration on the truck as a birthday president for our great uncle Daniel. Many parts obtained from LMC.
The truck is a 1965 F100 all original sheet metal except for the tailgate, which is a Ford tooled galvanized reproduction indistinguishable from OEM. The straight six was replaced with a V8 302 and the original 3 speed Top-loader with the three in the tree converted into a floor shift. Original front grill re-chromed. A full frame up restoration with some added upgrades, power steering and power disk breaks.
