1993 Chevy Silverado – Robert W.

A lady I worked with bought this new. On day 1, I told her I wanted it whenever she was done with it, she said OK. I went back to work there in ’05, she still had it, I told her I still wanted it. She got a new Hummer and kept her promise, she gave me the truck. I cleaned and buffed it out and put the door decals on it that were in a box. It turns out the race that year was on her birthday, date on the door May 30th. She wasn’t a race fan just liked the truck. It has 240k miles on it and is mostly original. It’s kinda tired like me but it has been the best vehicle I could ever ask for, it’s semi-retired now to give my dog rides and occasional hauling, It has its bumps and bruises, but runs like a champ with normal maintenance. It’s nice that LMC is there for us truck owners because you will need something eventually, like a power window regulator, etc. The only thing that doesn’t work is the radio. I love it and my dog loves going for rides in it, it means a lot to me, it does kind of draw too much attention sometimes, but oh well, 31 years and counting…
