My dad bought this truck new February 1993 from Don Mirrielees Chevy. I remember the day we picked up the truck, it was sitting on the showroom floor and the salesman asked me if I wanted to pull the truck outside. I declined, as I was 13 years old and didn’t have much driving experience. Fast forward to 2019, the old ’92 was looking rough, the rockers and cab corners were rusted away along with the wheel arches. I decided to do a frame-off restoration and shorten the frame to go from a long bed to a short bed doing a 4/6 drop. The engine is the original 5.7 rebuilt with aluminum heads GM LT4 hot cam. Over the course of 3 years, I did the body, paint, and mechanical myself . Once completed, Dad and I took the truck out on its first drive adding to more great memories.
