1963 Chevy C10 – Karl A.

I received a message from a friend with an automotive shop that a customer/friend had purchased and didn’t want. He said it was too much work. The shop owner, friend of mine, asked if I was still looking for a C10, of course I was. It was a long stepside, base model with 6 cylinder/3 speed. I made it run, drive, and then pulled it out for my 4.8 LS engine with turbo 350 trans. I have broken 3 engines in this truck and now have 5.3 Vortec that is fun and powerful enough for autocross/road racing/cruising. I have swapped the frame with a 64 chassis, lowered and tightened the suspension. It’s a lot of fun.
