I bought the truck in Ogden, Utah the year my first daughter was born in 1983. It was a grocery getter hunting, fishing truck and fire wood hauler with a 440 engine. Then, in 2005 I started the build and slowly added 4” suspension lift and 3” body lift with 33” tires. Then, I pulled the 1/2 ton axles out, then purchased front and rear dana 60 axles out of a 1984 1 ton Dodge. I sent them to all pro in Ogden, new 456 gears with arb air lockers front and rear, disc brake conversion, and powder coated. Tom Woods in Ogden built custom drive shafts. I drove the truck for 3 years while adding cross over steering, boxing in the front frame all new leaf spring hangers and springs, u bolt flip, shackle flip, rear air bags for towing, and 35” tires. I also built front and rear bumpers with storage compartments in them, which gets a lot of attention. Then, Covid hit, the body came off, I did as much as I could, the rest was Boss Auto, LMC Truck, and the local salvage yard. I finished it in August 2021.
