My son, Robert jr. and I found this truck in an auto trader magazine in 2015. He was going to start high school and needed a truck to get himself around. He paid under $1,000.00 for it not running but it is in a dry climate and had little rust. He had a new 350 installed in 2016. He drove it for a couple years but purchased a smaller vehicle for transportation. We had been stockpiling replacement parts from LMC since 2019. In 2023 we decided it was time to take the next steps. We treated the bed and undercarriage, replaced a fender and began the body work. We wanted to retain the original feel as much as possible so we replaced all exterior and interior trim as original. In July of 2023, the paint was completed and the reassembly began. LMC provided everything a guy would need
to put a project like this together. The wheels started out as black Daytonas from LMC and with a few holes drilled for the center cap and a beauty ring, a rally wheel was born. Now everywhere we go we get compliments on how great it looks. Thanks LMC True. Thanks Kevin for the very helpful tips on video.
