Well, it was back in 1992. I was driving with my brother across the number one highway and drove through Strathmore and spotted this beautiful charcoal, gray and black square body sitting at the dealership in the used department and we had to stop. I had to see this so we went in there and made a deal and came back couple days later and purchased the truck . Throughout the couple years, I owned it I had a dual exhaust and mag rims and tires and a few other things, I loved that truck and decided that I needed a truck with AC so I sold it to my sister in 1995. Regretted getting rid of it for sure, and she had it for a couple years and it went to a friend of mine from school growing up and he lived out in Winnipeg. He took it out there, had it for a while and then he moved back and sold it to my uncle. He drove the truck while he was actually working where I was so I got to see it all the time still regretted selling it and then he sold it to my boss at the time to his brother, so it was still in the area. I got to see it all the time and tried to purchase it back but he would not sell it. He liked it too much so his son drove it so I did disappear over to a town an hour away and he ended up getting it repainted and did some work and finally decided that he didn’t want to have it so my brother purchased it from him when I found out I couldn’t believe that he sold it to my brother and not me. Oh well still in the area so I bugged my brother for years and years to sell it to me and one day he called me up and asked if I still wanted that wrangler and I said yes sir I’ll be right over and I’ll get it , I have owned it again for the second time for the past five years and last winter 2023, I decided to start restoring the interior, so I got it at all from LCM and put everything new and added AC of course. So I have it all finished inside and started working on the outside getting it running better had to change the fuel tanks and pumps but I just want to get it so that I can use it this summer of 2024 to take my wife on a date in it.
