My husband has owned many cars in his lifetime. He is 65, retired, and loves wiping on his cars… which is why we call him Shyne. Because all his cars shine!!! He has an ‘87 Jimmy, an ‘02 nitrous injected Mustang, and an ‘89 Caprice Classic Brougham.

He has had his ‘87 Jimmy since 1994. It has been restored to almost new except for the engine, which is stock. He is thinking about changing the 305 to an ls3. He did replace the stereo system with a 3000 watt sound stream. It’s noted the top has never been lifted! He has relied on LMC Truck when it comes to ordering parts for his Jimmy. He has ordered aluminum trim rings for the tires, a billet grill, a bug guard, headlight chrome accessories, a chrome window switch, a rubber window seal kit, and an electric door lock assembly. I’m not sure what he would do without LMC Truck when it comes to his Jimmy!!!!

He just loves wiping on all his cars. When people say “damn!” It just makes his day. He always says why buy new when you can keep your older cars and restore them. I just wanted to share a little bit about my husband and his love for cars. He takes such great pride in what he does to keep them clean and shining!!! Even if it means washing them twice a week!

He would much rather have the older cars than any new cars because they are easier to work on. And like others who we have seen talk about LMC Truck, he likes having the catalog so he can just thumb through it whenever he wants. He isn’t the computer type and is more old school, plus he loves talking to people about cars…. So when he calls LMC Truck to ask about parts, he usually brags about the cars he has. So, whoever has been on the receiving end of his calls, thanks for listening to him! Also, he says everything is for sale, except me… So, the Jimmy is for sale.
