This is my ’89 Ford Ranger that I bought over 20 years ago while in College. It had around 27,000 miles on it and an injected 2.3L with a 5 speed. I drove it as my daily driver until 2006 when I upgraded to a 2000 Ford Ranger. My plans were always to put a SBF 5.0L in it for a fun little Hot Rod. I spent over a decade building it as time and money allowed, learning how to do body work on it, repairing all the rust, upgrading interior and doing a complete color change on the truck. LMC was a big help in finding the parts I needed to do the restoration. I got the truck finished late 2021 and drove it as my daily driver all of 2022. Even before I finished the truck, a coyote swap was rolling around in my head. Fall of 2022, I started doing some research and figured out I could probably make it fit with a front suspension change and hyrdo-boost brake unit. It took me about 9 months to do the swap. It is not perfect, but I am happy with the results and am ready to put the truck back into daily driver status.
