As a boy, I remember climbing into my dad’s 1989 Dodge D150 Prospector brown and tan color. The truck that coughed blue smoke, looked like crap, but still kept trucking. A couple of years ago my brother went on a quest to find a truck just like it. One day he says to me, wouldn’t it be awesome if all of the brothers got one? Thus beginning the search for a good fixer upper. I finally found this one in Columbia, TN. First time I saw it, I was enamored with the idea of restoring it to its former glory. Since then, we have a collection of donor trucks and with the help of LMC, we have found all the parts we need. This is the first one we have done, with two more on the way. One day, all three restored trucks will drive the same road. I smile at the thought and long to see it happen. I’ve loved every second of it and I owe it all to my brother.
