1985 Chevy C10 – Twrin L.

When I was young, my dad had an old 1974 Chevy truck. From that moment on, I always wanted one. When Covid sent us home to work, I needed an outlet. My wife wanted me to buy a new truck because my 2005 Chevy Tahoe had 300,000 miles on it. I didn’t want a newer truck. That’s when the idea came to me that I wanted a Chevy C10. I was up late one night on Social Network and came across a truck that I wanted. I messaged the guy and asked if it was available. To my surprise, he messaged me back immediately. The next day, I drove about 2 hrs to look at it, not knowing if I would get it or not. Because after looking at it, I decided to load it up and bring it home. My wife was totally shocked that I bought an old truck. It took her a few days to come around. In the meantime I named the truck “GHOST”. Now my wife is fully into my truck. The first thing I did was change the tires because the previous owner had 26” tires on it. I replaced the rally rims and tires. I was able to dine some US Mag rimes and tires. Then I got it painted. It wasn’t perfect, but I had paint on it. And the way my life goes. I had to have the engine rebuilt. After that, I had the inside done, new dash and Dakota Digital instrument panel. Everything was going great. Me and the wife were really enjoying the truck until a tree decided to fall onto my truck. I must say that I was not happy at all. After calming down and listening to my wife telling me that we’re lucky that it didn’t fall on the house and no one got hurt and that the things we have are materials and can be replaced, I decided to get everything fixed and repainted. I went with a two tone paint scheme. I am very happy how it turned out. Now me and the wife can enjoy Ghost again.
