This ’77 F-100 was destined for the scrapyard when I saw it next to a house owned by a man in my church. I was Pastoring and working construction and my work truck tossed a rod, so I asked if I could buy it. He gave it to me and I fixed the problems and drove it for years. Then, when my youngest son was turning 16, I decided to fix it up for him as his fist vehicle. I replaced the entire driveline, new rubber, and cleaned it up. He drove it for about six months and said it ate too much gas, so I bought him a small car. I went on to use it for work again for years as he went off to college. Then, when the motor went bad, I decided to get serious about fixing it up and giving it to him as a heritage. It took several years to get it this far, it still needs a couple of things, but it is clean. New crate 302, posi rear end 373, and Lincoln overdrive trans. Super sound system!
