After my ’97 Silverado crested 300K, I noticed the transmission slipping so I started looking for another. I found an ’03 with 285K. It was in good shape except for some rust on the rockers. I’m now over 400K and it runs great. The only things I’ve had to replace were the alternator, radiator, and water pump. The AC compressor has locked up and that is next on the list.
