1966 Chevy C10 – Zane R.
My Chevy c10 has been my very first project truck as I purchased it last fall when I was 16. Now, I’m 17 and boy it’s been a journey. First of all, I purchased the truck off a friend of my uncle and the truck is originally from Arizona. We got the truck already running and in great shape. Very rust free truck which is quite rare living in the northern part of Ohio. Starting last winter to now, I have spent countless hours restoring and replacing everything on the truck. The truck now is lowered 4 inches and sits on a set of B/G Rod Works 18’s and has been converted to 5 on 5 bolt pattern with front disk breaks. With the help of my dad and step father, we converted it to power steering and it now has a 350 engine in it. Being a very big fan of the “patina style” I wet sanded and clear coated the truck leaving for a unique finish. Being so young, this truck has taught me lots about cars and working with my hands. Now, I am very excited to take it to my very first car show and see where this journey takes me.
