I built Belle for our 20th wedding anniversary as she reminds my wife of her Grandpa’s truck.

We bought her as a roller with a ’69 Chevelle front clip and 350/350 drive train installed but needed lots of lovin’.

Cheapest highest quality build I could manage on a shoe string budget. She was on the road for 2 months then was hit on my way to work by a hit and run DUI.

18 months in body shop prison, then we finally got to build on her again. I had my wife Donna pick the color without knowing what it would be on.

We drive her almost daily, (rough with Washington rain).

We had gone through the great hydraulic flat tappet debacle, and ended up using comp Cam’s DLC lifters and Mutha Thumper cam, making roughly 400 HP.

Installed a full stereo system, 500 watt amp, (2) 10 ” IB flat Pioneer subs (2) 6×9 pioneer mods, a pair of Harley Davidson all weather tweeters/mids in the dash, and a custom Sound Blu Tooth stereo deck.

We made pin striping out of reflective tape (a tip of the cap to may Naval aviation mechanic days) (still in progress) and added led rope lifting to set her off.
