1969 Chevy C10 – Roy W.

I bought this truck from the original owner. My neighbor was a contractor before he retired. He bought the truck new. When he passed away, his two boys wanted to sell the truck, which they called the dump truck. They called it that because they threw anything that needed to go to the dump into the back. I thought the truck had some promise so I made an offer. After a short negotiation, I drove my new-to-me truck home. I spent the next 6 years off and on doing body work and minor mechanical work.
When I retired, I decided that it was time to get serious and got all the body work done and got it to a local paint shop. The paint has a special meaning to me because it is the color of my first car, a 1962 Pontiac Catalina. I have uploaded before and after photos.
