1970 Chevy C15 – Monyca A.
4 days after losing my Dad, I went to a car show. I met a guy who questioned my purpose. I didn’t have a clue. Realizing I loved Chevy classics and had over 16k in photographs, he convinced me to document my story.
I started a page, gained followers, friends and a family.
A year ago, one follower found me my first classic. Another taught me how to build up a truck with all original parts from 1970 to a modern small block 350. This truck belonging to a farmer, recently passing. Filled with beer cans and squirrels turned into a truck that has driven thousands of miles in less than a year through California to Hot August Nights.
No trailering, it became a story that despite of loss, I gained so much support. No matter what issue we’ve had mechanically, my amazing followers have kept me on the road. From parts to two engines, this truck has become my legacy through my father.
