1988 Ford F150 – John O.

It was a prized possession of my late brother in law… Like a well-worn pair of your favorite leather gloves. Everything fit and worked like it should, while not being the least bit pretentious or complicated. When he passed, I asked his daughter and son if I could buy it. They wanted to keep it in the family, so I became its new owner. Then the rehab started… New tires, exhaust system, new battery, bed off total repaint, seats reupholstered, new carpeting, dash and other interior surfaces resprayed with original scarlet red, replacement instrument cluster installed, bumper replaced, new trailer towing system and sway bar installed, new head and tail lights installed, all badges replaced, radiator and transmission flushed… and the list goes on. It took over 2 years and involved some of the best automotive artisans in the Waynesboro-Staunton, VA area; Ladds Auto Repair, Sheuy’s Auto Upholstery, Rosvalls Body Works, Mikes Auto Reconditioning, and Mikes Transmissions.
