My father passed away in 2020. As a kid, some of my best memories with my dad was the Chevy trucks he had and teaching me how to drive in his ’69 C10 (stick shift). I passed by a Chevy for sale one day and when I took my wife back by to look at, she said, “You really need to buy that to have a project” and it was her idea to dedicate my build to my father “Pappy.” It has come a VERY long way but still has a long way to go. Being “Under Construction” leaves a lot of possibilities and I live by the motto “Built not Bought.” So far, I have upgraded the suspension throughout, slapped on some wheels and tires, gave it a great stance, relocated the gas tank, upgraded to the Holley Sniper 2 EFI with the Hyperspark kit, revamped the interior and replaced many other parts to someday finish the entire thing with a paint job that would make my dad smile from ear to ear.
