I found this truck 8 years ago. It was destined for the scrap yard. It was badly neglected sitting in a backyard. The owner had passed away and his spouse sold it to me. I installed a new battery and fought off the wasp nesting under the hood. Managed to drive the truck home in limp mode with an escort following just in case. Found the truck running terribly. The electrical system and related components had been butchered. The fuel tank had been repaired but was leaking. One of the front shocks had been damaged and duct taped. The original red paint had been painted over with black sometime in the past but was in really bad condition. The rear quarters had rusted out over the wheels. After a few years of driving the truck, I gradually repaired or replaced parts to restore the truck to a better state. I found LMC on the internet while searching for repair parts. I am very pleased with the products purchased from LMC to help get my truck in the great condition it is in now. I stripped the truck to bare metal, welded in patch panels on the rear quarters, replaced all of the weather stripping, new hardware for the tailgate, and many other items. The new paint was applied by a good friend.
