I bought the truck new in 1991. It was all tricked out with custom paint, trim, and shell. After 19 years, the paint was getting thin in places due to polishing and waxing. In 2009, I had it completely redone at Outlaw Rod and Custom in Norfolk, VA. I gave their painter, Will Menefee, a sketch of how I wanted it painted. New grille, mirrors, lights (front and rear), side molding, wheel opening trim, and front bumper all came from LMC Truck. I also bought the tailgate relocation handle from LMC and had it put on the inside of the bed. Then in 2020, I replaced the wheels with new GM 18-inch wheels. I currently have 310,000 miles and it is still running strong. The shell is the most talked about item on the truck, unfortunately the factory that made it was blown away in a hurricane and never rebuilt so it is a one off. I like LMC Truck, their employees are friendly and very helpful so as long as I have this truck, I will be a loyal customer. Thank you for your time and interest in my truck.
