1979 Ford F250 – Frank A.

I’ve been a fan of the ’77-’79 Ford trucks and Broncos ever since my friend Alex turned me on to them at age 16 and I’ve owned several of them through the years. I found this truck on Craigslist in upstate New York about an hour from my house. I could tell from the picture it had a large front hub which could mean only one thing, a dana 60 front axel and indeed I was correct. Much to my disbelief I had found a low miles rare snow fighter truck! I gave this truck a full frame off restoration in my home garage. It has a balanced full roller 400m under the hood, c6 trans np 203 transfer case, and dana 60s front and rear with 3:54 gears and Yukon lockers. It has a 4-inch skyjacker lift with 35-inch tires. I did all the body and paint work myself with a lot of good mentoring from experienced friends. This was my first paint job! I was glad to have my son Frankie be a part of this restoration and think its important that we get our youth involved in the process and teach them our passion for keeping the classics on the road. I’d like to thank LMC truck for having such a huge quality parts inventory at affordable prices. Without you, this wouldn’t have been possible.

Looking forward to the next build.
