1990 GMC Sierra – Claude M.
This is my 1990 GMC Serria 1500. I purchased this truck in high school back in 2014 as my first truck. In 2018, someone ran a four way stop and smacked into the passenger side of my bed, snapping my axle and caving in the bed. Everyone else would have just scrapped it and called it done for. But that’s where the restoration process started. With the help of my dad and a local shop, we got it back on the road 6 months later. In 2019 I had the truck repainted, 2020 bought the 383 stroker and made some upgrades to the 700R4 transmission to handle the power. Shortly after got a belltech lowering kit, along with a set of american racing wheels. Then decide to upgrade from a carburetor to a Holley Sniper EFI system. In the interior upgraded to a set of Dakota digital gauges and bucket seats with center console. Custom door panels redone at a local shop. I just love going on rides, talking to people about my truck and just enjoying the money and time that’s invested. Thank you LMC for helping my dream truck become reality.
