1970 Chevy C10 – F Mack H.
Back in 2004, I picked up an old half-painted truck from my brother for just $600. She came with a tired 302 engine and a bad carburetor—but I needed a truck and this one just happened to be my dream ride in disguise.
What started as a simple need turned into a long-term project filled with passion and persistence. Over the years, I’ve poured time, energy and a whole lot of heart into bringing her back to life. She’s been treated to a full set of upgrades: disc brakes, all-new door assemblies inside and out, fresh windows and windshield, a rebuilt rear end and a full drop package.
The biggest transformation came under the hood—where that old 302 now makes way for a 5.3L LS High Output engine with a Stage 3 cam. Bodywork and exterior accessories completed the look, turning this rough workhorse into a head-turning street queen.
I call her Bertha. Watching her evolve from a beat-up beater to this stunning machine has been an absolute blast. She’s more than just a truck—she’s part of the family.
