I bought this F100 on Ebay in 2006, pretty much for a local neighborhood and knock around truck in a small town. I moved to south of Ft Worth TX. Towed my boat when needed and some Jet Skis and got my daughter to college, but never thought it would venture more than 150 miles, after it’s 1500 mile trip to there, which was not without calamity as the radiator blew up 200 miles into the first day! All fixed with Auto Zone and a few tools and made it the rest of the way fine. As it turned out I have driven this classic from VA to TX ,to CA to NV and back to CA, TX and then TN over the last 19 years all under its own 351M/C6 power! In 2006, I wanted a short bed as that was all my garage would accept, but I came to appreciate the unique size of later 100’s, though I’ve achieved much better garages! I initially thought of removing the old school fiberglass bed cover but most folks seem to think it’s cool and I’ve never seen another like it. That 1st day was the only time it ever failed me and relentless since then. Recent improvements have been a total new dual exhaust, new LMC interior and wheels I bought for $200 at the F100 Nationals in Pigeon Forge TN, which I’d highly recommend going to at least once, if you can! Next project is to freshen engine and transmission seals so I can finally spiff up the engine room! Folks at gas stations and supermarkets and walmart ask me all the time if I would sell it….and I just ask them, would you? An old Ford fan, I also have 65 Stang, 69 Bronco, 57,96,02 Thunderbirds, and a very trusty 98 Explorer. A club.  I was in back in TX had a motto…Old Fords are forever! Thanks Henry!
