1966 Chevy C10 – Leonardo S.
This truck was purchased by my dad in 1975 as a second owner with 46k miles.
The truck came with a 283 cubic engine and a 3-speed manual transmission on the column. Truck was in mint condition and was driven as a daily commuter for work. As the years pasted on up until 2007, he parked the truck when the engine started to knock internal. My dad at times was tempted to sell the truck but decided to keep it in the family so he gifted it to me in 2017. Working on cars and trucks was not only my passion but is my profession. I had an opportunity to start teaching Automotive classes at a local high school in Floresville, Texas in 2021. As a class project for my Auto tech classes I challenged them to put their knowledge and skills to work. Students achieved hands on while working diligently on the truck with over 1,900 man hours and kept the cost under $12K, it was completed in May 2025 with just days before school was out for the summer. I want to extend a special thanks to my Auto Tech classes whom put all the effort to make my project a success. Most of all made my dad proud to see the outcome in the end. Trust, confidence and years of Automotive experience all payed off in the end to watch such talented students overcome a great challenge. I will forever remember those students who put all the effort and elbow grease to keep this truck back on the road where it belongs. Keeping it rolling again!
Thank you LMCtruck!
