1981 Chevy C10 – Jordan B.

This truck is special, there are many like it but this one is unique. This truck is a complete time capsule of the 1980s. All original with minimal to no rust and has never been wrecked. This truck came from the factory as a true Silverado design with all the bells and whistles, the original mud flaps and wheel well dust covers. (Power steering, Power Disc Brakes with original rotors, master cylinder and booster, rear drums and shoes and no squealing, R12 A/C, comfort tilt steering wheel with the original wrap from 44 years ago still in mint condition with no tears, cruise control, the original rally wheels and center caps, the original AM/FM Stereo radio that still works, exterior decor package, originally two tone paint that was the brand new color dark chestnut metallic/santa fe tan, vinyl bench seat, original doeskin carpet, LE9 305 4 barrel with electronic spark control and electric choke that still works, original chrome rear/front bumper and guards and all the chrome.) The ‘stacked’ headlights was an option is 1981, these are still the original headlights on it today. This truck came from mount airy North Carolina known for Andy Griffith, and bought new in 1981 from Collins Chevrolet of Mount Airy. (Now a movie theater, the dealer was moved later on and is now Scenic Chevrolet). I am the third owner of her and is not going anywhere except to my kids. The mileage and gauges are all original and is confirmed from docs, I have with only 77,000 original miles. I bought it in Jamestown, NC and brought her back home to Mount Airy, NC. My wife bought it for me for our anniversary a few years ago and I couldn’t have got it without her, thank you LMC for letting me share my story and make this girl known.
