1972 GMC C1500 – Ronald B.

Hi, my name is Dylan Bates. I previously owned a 1992 stepside Chevy Silverado with the cow induction hood and December 27 of last year. Somebody had T-bone me and totaled it. It was crushing because it was my first pick up and it was the same year. I was born. So I bought my NEW!!!! Truck March 28 of this year 2025 as a gift to my self though the old one was irreplaceable this one feels that void and the Crager‘s off my 92 fit right on it so I was typing it when it rained because it had a bit of a leak issue and one day I took the tarp off and the roof had absorbed a bunch of water drops so there were hundreds of little bubbles in the paint on the roof and when I addressed that I decided to redo the windshield and rear window gaskets and that’s when I discovered some rust though it was very unnoticeable before I ever disturbed anything it was very much there and you know what they say. It’s always worse than it looks when it comes to old cars and I didn’t want to just half  it so i’ve been cutting all the old stuff out and welding in the new panels. I’ve accomplished quite a bit, but I still got a little ways to go. I can’t wait till she’s back on the road. Just been buying each pieces I go as I can afford it. Wish me luck.!!!!!!
