1986 Chevy C10 – Gerald L.

Bought my dream truck in August of 2024 at the age of 47. 1986 GMC C1500. Originally out of Tennessee (I live in Massachusetts). Folks I bought from brought it up about 8 years prior and for the most part sat in a garage all those years. All original minus a re-paint(same color combo) in the mid to late 90’s, and an after market stereo. These are the trucks I grew up riding in the back of in the late 80’s to early 90’s. Always wanted one but life circumstances just never seemed to allow for it. I spotted this beauty on my way to work one day and immediately fell in love with it. I drove past it everyday on the way to work for about 3 weeks wishing it was in my driveway. Well, one day I’m heading to work and my heart sank. The truck was gone. I honestly felt like my puppy ran away. To my good fortune it popped back up about a week later. Right then I told myself, and knew this was going to be my truck one way or another. Here I am today. Finally have my dream truck and I’m loving every minute of it. I drive this truck every single day. It’s my daily driver. I do have some plans for it in the future. But as of right now she runs and drives like a dream and I’m enjoying it as it is.
