1979 Ford F250 – Joseph S.

My first truck was a 1967 Ford with a 3 on the tree with positive traction, since then I have had addition Ford trucks. In the late 80’s while working as the Security Director at a local mall, I spotted this 1979 Ford F- 250 in the parking lot with a 4-sale sign on it. I waited for the driver to return, and I purchased it on the spot. It was not the original color and had it repainted with Dark Red Toreador metallic. I did extensive upgrades including a RV cam, Edelbrock Intake, Holly 4-Barrell and custom dual exhaust. Being retired for several years, I only take it to car shows and have won multiple trophies. Most people ask if it is a High Boy due to its height, but it is a standard F-250 4×4. I currently own two additional fairly new F -150 4×4 trucks.
