1990 Chevy K10 – Leo R.

Leo and his dad, Michael, restored Leo’s great grandfather’s 1990 chevrolet truck for Leo to drive. Michael inherited his grandpa’s truck when he passed away in 2000. Les bought the truck new in 1990 from Lowery Chevrolet in Tryon, NC. After Les passed away, Michael drove the truck for about 10 years and then parked it. It sat under a shed for about 15 years. The white W/T 1500 4×4 was in need of an overhaul! When leo turned 13, he and his dad began to restore the truck into what leo would drive when he turned 15. They painted it, swapped the V6 for a V8 engine, fully restored the interior and added chrome accents to the once basic work model truck with parts from LMC Trucks. When leo turned 15 they finished the restoration and Leo now drives his great grandfather’s truck everyday!
